Village Facts
Grogan’s Mill was the first Village established in The Woodlands and was named after the original Grogan’s Lumber Company Mill, that was once located on the property. The community opened in October of 1974 with a celebratory flag raising, and featured a guest appearance by none other than William Shatner, who starred as Captain Kirk in Star Trek. There are over 5000 homes and 12,000+ residents who call Grogan’s Mill home. This village features the Woodlands Resort and Conference Center, and the town’s two public golf courses, the Oaks Course and the Panther Trail Course.
